About the Team

The Strategy & Operations Merchandising team owns the discovery experience, how users explore DoorDash. Our mission is to help DoorDash consumers connect with their communities and discover “what’s good” in their city. Our team designs strategies and executes initiatives to help consumers understand the breadth of services and goods available on DoorDash and feel that DoorDash is personalized, offering relevant recommendations with enough context to confidently place an order. We bring together a team across product, user research, marketing, analytics and operations to collaborate on platform and content projects that bring us closer to this vision.

About the Role

In this role, you will work with cross functional partners to generate data-driven hypotheses and ideas with the goal of solving key problems for DoorDash consumers. You will be responsible for helping execute experiment plans, setting expectations internally, reporting out on performance, and generating insights to make recommendations for business & product decisions. You will also create & implement efficient processes for working cross functionally with our strategic partners. You will report into a Manager on our Merchandising team which sits within the Consumer Strategy & Operations organization.

• Experiment - design and execute experimentation plans to test key discovery hypotheses and influence the vision for the DoorDash consumer app

• 2+ years of work experience in consulting, banking, analytics, strategy and operations, technology or related fields
• Experience analyzing data to make recommendations and draw insights
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Worked in a fast paced environment
• Experience operating at the lowest level of detail
