Lyft is looking for a motivated and organized Community Associate to join our team, full time. In this role, you will be the face of Lyft, meeting with applicants and current drivers at our local facilities and preparing them for the exciting road ahead. You will be responsible for providing a world-class experience through inspections, onboarding, and driver support at our Lyft Driver Center near LAX Airport. You will have the opportunity to drive our local operations and initiatives to ensure the Lyft LA Community is one of the best markets.

Responsibilities:

• Supports, motivates, and helps co-workers and customers to build trust
• Proactively identifies operational improvements and regularly develops and executes solutions
• Meets key business metrics/OKRs for shift/scope
• Ensures team meets service standards set by business on a consistent basis
• Guide drivers through the inspection and onboarding process
• Support applicants and drivers with your knowledge of both LA and the Lyft platform
• Perform pre- and post- applicant outreach to get drivers approved and on the road
• Work with current drivers to solve any issues that they may have
• Uphold the Lyft standard of service while working with all drivers
• Prepare, clean and get Flexdrive Vehicles ready for rent
• Perform and handle Flexdrive rental contracts for drivers
• Complete ad hoc tasks, as assigned by your manager, as needed

Experience:

• 2+ years with in-person customer service roles such as retail, technical support, hospitality, or automotive
• Knowledge of the for-hire vehicle industry
• Impeccable customer service and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication proficiency with common technology tools like Slack, Zendesk, Google Sheets, Google Docs etc preferred
• Typically involves standing for most of the workday (although Lyft will make accommodations for qualified individuals with disabilities)
• Nice to Have: Passion for cars!
