Solve for what’s next—at PagerDuty. PagerDuty is looking for a Product Analyst who is passionate about data, analytics, and product research. PagerDuty Product Analysts are skilled, curious, and driven to find the right answers that will impact business decisions through analysis and formulation of critical insights. This role has high exposure within the company as you will often be working with senior leadership. Accordingly, strong communication skills will be key. As a Product Analyst, you will have a deep knowledge of the data analysis process, data analysis tools, and analytics best practices. You will work quickly and confidently while delivering high-quality output. You have a significant understanding of our business and product to employ the right methods and data to answer questions in hand.
Key Responsibilities
- You will be reporting to the Sr Product Analytics Manager, joining a quickly growing team of Analysts.
- You will own data and analytics support to one of our product teams.
- You will query our Snowflake data warehouse to conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover valuable insight.
- You will analyze the nature of our users and accounts to monitor engagement and discover churn risk.
- You will help with strategic product planning.
- You will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Data Engineers, and Growth Analytics.
- You will communicate findings to a range of roles: other Analysts; Product Management; and Senior Leadership.

- Comfortable with a fast-paced work environment and fielding responsibilities spanning multiple projects at any given time.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in an analytical discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or Engineering.
- 3-5 years of professional experience as a Data / Business / Product Analyst or Consultant.
- Proficiency with SQL.
- Familiarity with an analytics programming language, such as Python or R.
- Proficiency with Business Intelligence (BI) tools for strategic reporting and analytical exploration.
Preferred Qualifications
- Fluency with SQL, particularly in the Snowflake environment.
- Proficiency with Python or R to dive deep into data to discover the properties of metrics, calculate marginal effects, and assess statistical significance.
- Proficiency with a cloud-based BI tool such as Periscope or Mode.
- Familiarity with A/B testing.
- SaaS / Startup Background.
