- Negotiate a variety of business contracts including BAAs, MSAs, DPAs, data transfer agreements, and software licensing terms. Draft and revise contract templates; provide day-to-day oversight over Reify’s contract management program.
- Draft and revise Compliance policies and procedures.
- Build and deliver internal training on a variety of compliance topics, including regional and global privacy and data protection, ethics, and workplace conduct.
- Be a key contributor to Reify’s third-party assessment processes, including performing Privacy Impact Assessments and providing general oversight over vendor qualification, contracting, and onboarding. Be responsible for crafting polished privacy- and compliance-related content for external audiences, particularly in support of Reify’s sales and customer success functions.
- Monitor and analyze regulatory developments and provide regular reporting to key stakeholders within the company.
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to accomplish key business objectives across departments.
- Opportunity to pursue trainings and other professional development in support of your role and growth at Reify.
- This is a remote position.
What You Bring to Reify Health:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey complicated legal and regulatory concepts clearly and pragmatically to non-legal audiences.
- Strong commitment to championing data protection and compliance within Reify.
- 2+ years of experience working in an in-house legal role, preferably in the software tech and/or healthcare space.
- 2+ years experience advising business teams on compliance with global data protection regulations, HIPAA.
- Preference for work experience in healthcare tech (especially clinical trials) or another highly regulated field.
