Team Description
Our Sales and Channel teams share Dropbox Business with companies around the world, helping them understand the power Dropbox has to offer teams at scale. The Sales Strategy team develops insights to assess business performance, and leads initiatives to identify new sources of growth. We work closely with senior sales leaders to develop shared goals, and do the planning and execution necessary to make those goals a reality.
Role Description
As a Solutions Enablement Program Manager, you will be responsible for designing, producing and delivering technical enablement programs and readiness activities/events that assist our Customers, Channel Partners and Vendors drive adoption of the Dropbox multi-product suite. You are passionate about helping customers, partners and service providers get the most value from the Dropbox suite by developing and delivering effective programs at scale that deepen their understanding of our products. We are looking for those with the skills and drive to have maximum impact on our customers’ success and adoption. You will work closely with many Dropbox teams (e.g.direct sales and account management, internal channel, vendor teams, revenue enablement, engineering and product management), as well as external stakeholders (distributors, channel partners and vendors). This position supports all Dropbox products, all routes to market, and full sales cycle.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimise technical curriculum that improve the productivity of our sales teams and external partners
- Design and develop hands-on and virtual workshops including managing logistics, creation of materials, lesson plans, activities and labs collaboratively and independently
- Conduct technical solution enablement and training to internal sellers and external partners (Distributors, Channel Partners and Vendors)
- Identify improvement of training materials to reflect changes in our products and conduct gap analysis on content development and certification programs to support creation, curation and maintenance of content
- Build relationships across the business and use SME expertise across teams
- Collaborate with other organisational learning, sales and partner enablement teams to build highly scalable and compelling learning experiences,
- Support channel and vendor teams with ad hoc technical Q&A of Dropbox products and add-ons (including our third-party integrations)
- Manage the technical relationship with Dropbox partners and customers including objection handling, roadmaps, migration strategies, customer demos, pilots and proof-of-concept work
- Be an ambassador for Dropbox and our unique culture at every opportunity and in every interaction
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or demonstration of equivalent knowledge
- Proven experience as a Program Manager, Technical Trainer, Professional Services Solutions Consultant and/or Sales Engineer
- Desirable: experience creating and delivering remote and in-person training courses for technical products
- Ability to explain technical concepts for audiences of varying technical backgrounds. Ability to translate technical material to customer business use cases.
- Extraordinary presentation and communication skills, with the ability to establish trust across a range of executive, technical and non-technical audiences
- Fluency in English (Writing, Reading and Speaking). European language preferable (German / French / Italian).
- Self-starter, ability to quickly learn new technologies and have an ongoing desire to stay current with the latest technologies
- Able to excel in a fast-moving and demanding environment
- PRINCE2, PMP, Agile or similar qualifications are a plus
- Technical expertise in SaaS applications, collaboration/productivity software, integrations with on-prem/cloud-hosted applications natively and through a REST API preferable
