Job Description
As an Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in our sales process by driving opportunities from qualification to close, growing the customer base, and driving net new revenue. Setting up our team for success is a top priority for us, so we provide comprehensive tools, training, and support to help each salesperson reach their potential. We challenge our AEs to think critically about our target market, our solution, and our customers. You will learn a ton, work hard, and have a lot of fun along the way. This is a US-based position and may be located in NYC or remote.

What you’ll be working on:
- Build relationships with key stakeholders within your accounts and clearly communicate the differentiated value of Underdog’s solution
- Engage prospects through email, warm calling, and Linkedin touches
- Conduct live presentations and demos with prospects, tactfully negotiate terms, consistently win deals and achieve goals
- Partner with SDRs to seamlessly accept Sales Qualified Opportunities, ensuring a positive buying experience for your prospects
- Partner with CSMs to run successful Pilots that consistently convert to subscription customers
- Supplement your pipeline by prospecting strategic accounts and generating your own qualified opportunities
- Maintain detailed, organized notes and provide feedback on the process, messaging, and ICPs to the business team to support our ongoing efforts to develop a world-class sales organization
What we’re looking for:
- 6+ months SDR experience with a strong track record of success
- 2+ yr closing experience in software sales with a strong track record of success
- Your average ACV is $20k+
- Experience managing complex sales cycles >60 days
- Experience selling to VP and C level execs at software companies with 100+ employees
- Experience and willingness to generate their own opportunities as an AE
- Excellent note-taking, process management, and follow-through skills
- You’re a clear, concise, and confident communicator
- A big plus:
- Formal sales training
- Strong understanding and experience using solution selling techniques
- Strong understanding of SFDC and experience with Outreach
