Your Opportunity

Charles Schwab's Retail Onboarding, Activation & Growth team manages the new client (digital) experience and is responsible for the enterprise platform that delivers this experience at scale. This an area of strategic and operational importance given the market environment and growth realized via the combination of Schwab and TD Ameritrade. We are looking for a product leader to help us craft the future of this digital experience and platform.

The journey product lead must have a passion for developing talent, building digital products and experiences, the ability to manage complex work, and driving change. In addition, this leader will work across a wide range of stakeholders to optimize our experiences and platforms and will lead product design, client experience, development, and risk management. This role will be responsible for articulating the vision for this team, building scalable product, and innovating to drive optimized experiences.

What you are good at

• Building engaged, high-functioning teams across product, technology, and other areas of the firm
• Cultivating relationships cross-functionally and working effectively with various personality types at all levels of the organization
• Defining the client experience and platform strategy; communicating and rallying the team and partners toward journey outcomes
• Managing quality and execution of the digital product and scalable platform; experience with the product development lifecycle and agile practices
• Establishing and obtaining commitment to business goals, while constructively motivating people and implementing strategies to achieve superior business results, including quality and productivity
• Organizing and managing multiple large initiatives in parallel; comfortable in a dynamic and fast-moving work environment

What you have

7+ years of experience in digital product leadership roles with demonstrated increasing scope / impact -

Experience providing end-to-end business direction and digital product leadership for technology solutions in the financial services industry.

Exceptional communication, relationship management, and influencing skills -

Experience managing multiple priorities and overseeing distinct teams with varied strengths. Proven ability to navigate complex and nuanced interpersonal issues, balance priorities of different stakeholders, and build trust among business partners. Strong emotional intelligence/maturity and executive presence. Thrives on initiating, building, and cultivating strong authentic relationships inside and outside the group.

Experience driving transformation, change and process improvement through people, process, and technology -

Able to take a broad view of continuous process improvement and operational discipline to identify and maximize what we do and how we do it across the Enterprise.

Leadership -

Able to articulate a complex task or analysis to individuals at all levels of the company. An exceptional manager and motivator of people and teams who can build organizational capacity through a combination of proper organizational structure, hiring, training, and recruiting the best talent available.

Education and Professional Qualifications -

Bachelor's degree required. Post graduate degree is a plus.

4+ years’ experience in people management; consistent record of building and inspiring hard-working teams.
