ABOUT THIS ROLE
In this role, you will partner with our HR Business partners and Total Rewards team to drive Audible's compensation strategy. You will focus on design and implementation of global compensation initiatives, identifying opportunities for improvement and developing recommendations needed to support compensation projects and driving the data management of compensation systems and tools. Additionally, you will support the effort to ensure that compensation remains equitable and competitive. To be successful, candidates should demonstrate the ability to balance excellent analytical and technical skills while clearly driving communication and collaboration across multiple teams with competing priorities.

As Total Rewards Director, you will...
· Develop and support Audible’s global compensation plans, programs, policies and practices in areas such as focal compensation and performance planning, organizational market assessments and compliance projects, etc.
· Create strategic plans to address compensation and retentions issues within business.
· Conduct compensation analysis and research projects to analyze, diagnose and recommend solutions to business.
· Develop, administrate and enhance innovative compensation tools, systems and reports.
· Interpret Compensation policies and applies judgment of application for the business.
· Compile and evaluate quantitative and qualitative compensation related data sets against internal and external benchmarking.
· Create and administer Excel spreadsheet tools for compensation analysis, forecasting, planning and administration.
· Conduct ongoing metrics analysis and supporting new analytic strategies for current and future measurement.
· Drive process improvement needed to streamline operations and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
· Coach managers and other employees on compensation policies and practices.
· Convey information to occasionally divergent audiences that may require some persuasion.
· Support the achievement of goals through own personal effort.
· Be responsible for planning own work, assessing own progress, and adjusting efforts to meet goals.
· Be accountable for managing impact on cost and profitability of the business.
· Initiate the right contacts to resolve and discuss mutual problems or collaboration on procedures or transactions.
· Travel and work across global time zones occasionally.
