Position Overview

Position is part of development team focused on the design, development, and deployment of software utilized on a variety of fixed wing and rotary wing aircraft. Our products are focused on Flight Management, Planning, and Control of aircraft that specialize in all kinds of roles specific to military applications. The things you work on, create, will be used on actual aircraft!

Products supported with this role include:

CAAS/Flight 2 Flight Management Solutions - Our signature products for Military Avionics and Helicopters as part of the Collins Integrated Avionics Systems, fielded on thousands of aircraft today, at this moment. Specific capabilities include FMS (Flight Management Systems), Flight Director, and Flight Controls. Here’s a couple links to more details:

FACE (Future Airborne Capability Environment) - Our software as a product used to support not only navigation, flight planning, and guidance with our MFMS-1000 solution, but also hazard avoidance in real time as part of our Avoidance Re-Router (ARR-7000), which are being deployed on a variety of emerging platforms and next generation pursuits. Primary Responsibilities:

• System Define, Design, Test, and Certification
• Software Design, Development, and Test
• ADA, Python, C+/++
• Control Laws, Flight Planning, Flight Navigation, and Machine Learning

Basic Qualifications:

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
• US Citizen is Required (ability to get a DoD Clearance)
