Role and Responsibility:

· Providing technical support to customers and liaising with their needs

· Support commercial customer liaison as required

· Generating technical sales proposals and contracts including the creation of supporting data

· Providing technical support for Sales Engineers and internal sales team members

· Convey customer requirements to internal project teams at value stream gate reviews

· Produce supporting costs and data packages for new projects and associated support with sales department process

· Creating the monthly metric strategic packages for departmental meetings

· Actively supporting R&D for business development where necessary

Experience and Skills

· Ability to present technical information (desirable)

· Previous experience of completing customer specification interpretation and reviews (desirable)

· Carry out initial risk assessments for new projects and programs (desirable)

· Organised, analytical and attention to detail (essential)

· A high standard of customer presentation and interaction required

· The ability to work in a fast paced environment (essential)

· Exposure of working within another engineering related business-to-business sales experience (desirable)

· Aerospace industry experience (desirable)

· Previous experience in contract development (desirable)

Education

Higher level education (desirable)

A pass in Mathematics and English to GCSE or equivalent (essential)

Ability to use Microsoft Outlook and Excel (essential)
