Overview: The position of Manager, Information Technology is the technology leadership role for The Wing. This is an individual contributor, hands-on role, that will provide technology support for all locations, departments, and functions within The Wing. The person in this role will develop, manage, and support the IT infrastructure for all Wing locations and staff members. In addition, this role is the key technical liaison with International Workplace Group (IWG), the main investor in The Wing. The Wing leverages technologies, IT infrastructure, and processes from IWG. The person in this role will engage with IWG to establish and execute the technology project roadmap.

- Provide excellent customer service by directly supporting the Wing’s global staff in the use of technology. Including hardware and software support, employee onboarding and offboarding, etc.
- Establish and execute the IT project roadmap for The Wing that supports the goals and priorities of a rapidly growing and dynamic company
- Collaborate closely with IWG’s technology team on corporate technology initiatives
- Deliver resilient, stable, and scalable desktop and mobile device environments for all Wing locations and staff, including Jamf management
- Support IT infrastructure and systems within and across all Wing locations
- Develop and maintain hardware and software standards and processes for infrastructure, computer, mobile device, and application technology
- Application administration for key operational platforms, looking for opportunities to integrate systems to simplify processes
- Ensure the Wing’s systems are secure by auditing accounts, ensuring critical updates are applied, and tracking security threats that could impact the Wing
- Conduct training and ensure that all documentation and training materials are up to date for both internal and client facing IT systems (software systems, POS, printing, IT, internet, video conferencing, AV)
- Create and maintain clear and concise documentation of IT systems across the company
- Create and manage a corporate technology budget and manage assets across the company
- Engage and manage external service providers and vendors as necessary and manage the contract processes
- Develop and deliver training programs for staff for new technologies, applications, and/or cybersecurity
- Provide project leadership on IT projects
- Assisting in the roll out of new initiatives with an IT component, providing advice and expertise on the capabilities of our existing tools and how they may be leveraged to support interdepartmental aims
- Support openings, ensure operational readiness of the location and document necessary procedures for the operating team, including travel as required.
Skills/Experience Requirements:
- Five years of experience providing direct technology systems and support
- Proven ability to develop and implement effective policies, processes, and procedures
- Strong understanding of Microsoft and Apple computing environments
- Experience with Microsoft Office365
- Excellent laptop, desktop, and mobile device hardware experience
- Experience supporting smartphones and other handheld/tablet computing devices
- Experience supporting VoIP phones
- Proven project management experience, including the ability to engage and manage outside vendors
- Strong strategic thinker with hands-on technical skills
- Experience with Jamf is strongly preferred
- Experience with Cisco Meraki, RingCentral, and Zendesk is a plus
Education/Other Prerequisites - BA or equivalent experience, preferably in a technical field
