Billing Operations Analyst – North America

Summary:

OpenTable is looking for a highly motivated, analytical thinker that is not afraid to speak up and make sure the job is not just getting done but getting done in the most efficient and accurate way. Reporting to the Billing Operations Manager – North America, the Billing Operations Analyst will play a key role in monthly customer billing. Executing customer contracts and setting up the specified sales orders to ensure accurate customer billing; and ensuring properly accounted for revenue.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Daily Execution of new and existing customer contracts.
  • Monthly reporting to ensure sales orders are set up correctly for restaurants
  • Thoroughly review monthly audit reports to ensure proper customer billings
  • Effectively working with Process and Controls to continue streamlining process for customer billing
  • Collaborate with the Global teams to ensure processes are aligned
  • Act as SME for any system changes/implementations
  • Liaise quarterly with our auditors to provide adequate documentation and support
  • Work with Internal Controls and SOX Compliance team to mitigate revenue related risks
  • Monitor email/chatter inquiries for Billing related or Contract related questions from sales or collection team
  • Cross functional collaboration with both the FP&A and Sales team on monthly sales commissions

QUALIFICATIONS

  • College degree preferred
  • Minimum two years’ experience in a Finance related role
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills: task prioritization and effective time management.
  • Strong writing, presentation and informal communication skills.
  • Ability to understand issues and solve problems in a timely manner.
  • Proven ability to work across many departments to solve problems and achieve results.
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office products and Accounting software (Great Plains and Salesforce experience preferred).
