The Channel Marketing Manager is responsible for driving sell-through in their assigned retailers through marketing activities that leverage both the account’s and Tile’s marketing strategies and vehicles. They will work with internal team members (including product marketing, marketing, Tile.com, sales, operations) to understand marketing priorities, business conditions and strategic objectives. The CMM will work to execute and measure the plan in conjunction with the National Account Manager and the retail partner. These channel marketing plans will include in-channel advertising placements, year-round promotional planning, and strategic online/offline merchandising and POP development (including signage, messaging and in-store displays).
Responsibilities:
- Support the development of the account’s annual plan that connects stated goals from leadership with growth drivers for accounts
- Development and execution of Account merchandising plans & resets, including assortment plan-o-grams, advertising and retailer web content
- Drive the development of marketing materials (training, sell sheets, etc)
- Support the development of sales materials (retailer decks, account playbooks, etc) collaborating with Sales and Product Marketing
- Understanding of all nuances & opportunities for given accounts
- Know what specific activities each account has and what we should be investing in. Examples: training, field marketing, retail events/programs, webinars
- Work with Distributors, manage new sku set ups and ongoing online maintenance
- Maange merchandising tools such as Syndigo, Bazaarvoice, 1WorldSync
- Manage relationship with fabricators to develop and produce point of purchase assets that are within budget, selecting creative & materials that align with the account strategy
- Responsible for fixture maintenance and ordering
- Develop marketing/media plans with each account. Review and optimize on a monthly basis. Keep Sales updated on performance
- Ensure that visual instore/online merchandising is on brand (PDP content/promotional campaigns/syndicated content)
- Manage 3rd party in-store audits. Provide feedback to sales on optimal location/placement and quality of execution
- Provide feedback to Sales and Product Mktg for custom skus, packaging, messaging
- Review and maintain UPP at retail accounts

- Must possess excellent organizational and planning skills
- Superior project management and time management skills
- Retail Channel marketing experience, mastery of available retail marketing levers (product, price, placement, promotion)
- Team player and relationship builder
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of retail channel marketing experience
- BA/BS degree preferred
- Demonstrated analytical capabilities
- Strong presentation skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills to accounts
- Experience project managing retailer merchandising, online and in-store
- Proficiency with Excel, power point, Google docs, sheets and slides
