About the Role
We're looking for a Human Resources Analyst to join Cogo on our People & Culture Team as a key member of the organization. As an Analyst, you will be tasked with supporting the ideation, planning, and execution of several high-impact initiatives as part of the People & Culture team. Initiatives include executing on our performance strategy process, scaling a high impact compensation philosophy, and building the playbook to support our operating model. This is the perfect opportunity for someone looking to be a key contributor in a high impact, growing People & Culture team.
Our P&C Team is in the business of supporting our partners and our employees equally. This is the perfect opportunity to play a major role within our incubator with the operational and process-driven support needed to optimize initiatives and growth. You will serve as a liaison between internal and external members, executive management, and outside organizations.
This position is perfect for an enthusiastic and pro-active individual who can wear multiple hats while maintaining an organized and safe environment. An ideal candidate will possess the ability to think & execute strategically, maintain a strong work ethic, and serve as a cheerleader for Cogo’s culture and values.
Responsibilities
Formulate actionable steps related to high level strategy and execute on varying projects related to human resources and people operations
Leverage HRIS and other systems to create analyses and reporting around People Ops metrics
Drive the overarching team goals around branding, culture, and diversity, equity, & inclusion
Contribute to the project management process that is the foundation of company operations
Liaise between the eStaff and team members to ensure consistent and reliable communication
Facilitate new hire onboarding and ensure new hires have the necessary context & support to be impactful in their roles
Coordinate with cross functionally to allocate resources and provide support to employees
Support the overall mission and vision of the People & Culture team which is inclusive of HR, Recruiting, Performance, and L&D
Who You Are
You would be a great fit for this role if you have experiences in any of the following:
Human Resources or People Operations
Consulting, project management, analytics, or corporate strategy in the start-up or tech sector
Execution of performance reviews and calibration, compensation, people analytics/surveys, employee engagement projects, and organization design strategy
3+ years of professional experience and/or 1+ years post advanced degree preferred
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage with diverse audiences including visitors, interns, executive staff, management, engineering, and analysts
Action-oriented and impact-centric with the ability to influence and communicate at all levels of the organization and manage stakeholder relationships
Data-driven storyteller with advanced Excel skills and an ability to balance both strategy and granularity
Strong customer service focus with excellent follow through
Positive demeanor and eager to learn
Ability to communicate and follow through on things that need to get done
A knack for thinking big and process improvement, with high standards of excellence
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
High degree of professionalism and ethics around confidential information
