Role Overview Role Mission A successful People Operations Manager improves company culture, increases employee engagement, pushes DE&I initiatives forward, and fuels business growth. Role Description As the People Operations Manager, you will be viewed as an influential HR expert and have direct access to leadership and the opportunity to make a significant impact to the business. You will be focused on creating a culture and environment that keeps employees engaged, high performing, and proud to work at Sidebench. You'll be responsible for managing the team’s overall employee experience and partnering with the leadership team to ensure effective collaboration within and across all functions. Responsibilities
Employee Retention, People Development, and Performance Management - Upon developing an understanding of the strategic goals of the organization in partnership with the leadership team, provide strategic business partnership & coaching to managers and leaders across the organization - Managing and improving the onboarding process to further engage new hires, and introduce the culture of the company in a meaningful way - Conduct exit interviews and manage the offboarding process - Foster a feedback culture where data is utilized to create specific and measurable actions in partnership with leaders, and being seen as a trusted advisor to employees - Manage the current HR systems and programs, and identify new areas of opportunities for implementations (i.e. employee recognition programs, celebrating milestones, mentorship opportunities, etc.) - Enhance and continuously improve career ladders, facilitate trainings, and foster a growth mindset across the company - Design a way to collaborate with varying working styles, encourage ways for employees to think through their own impact to the business, and create an environment where continuous learning and growth is celebrated - Manage and implements processes and performance management systems that recognizes and rewards top talent - Identifying areas of opportunities and trends within the business to enhance workforce retention, and build a sense of community within the teams - Demonstrates empathy, active listening, and high emotional intelligence to navigate through difficult conversations - Manage and drive the annual performance management processes, and make recommendations as needed - Act as a liaison for vendor and consultant relationships
Help Grow and Manage the Business - Provide data analysis and propose solutions based on business needs - Create and launch employee surveys (i.e. biannual employee survey, pulse checks, 30/60/90 day check ins) and strategize with the leadership team on commitments and action items - Maintaining HR systems, manage and analyzing people metrics to define clear actionable insights and plans - Maintains a holistic view of the business and uses - People tools to achieve goals - Coordinate goal setting and tracking for the organization and help employees align their individual objectives to the company goals - Organize and improve company wide communications like All Hands, Pulse Checks, Team Weeks, etc. Work closely with executive team members to better understand the needs of the company and find ways to help solve for them - Develop and implement HR policies and practices to ensure compliance regulations - Cultivating a great reputation as an employer through developing the employment brand and recognition - Managing employee benefits programs Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations Areas of Focus - Employee lifecycle & engagement - Employee Performance Management - Onboarding - People/Talent Development - Employee Recognition - Culture Development - Team Events - Offboarding
