Junior Financial Analyst - FP&A

Job Description

Coinsquare is Canada’s leading and most secure digital asset trading platform for trading Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and other digital currencies. We built the most secure trading platform, and since our founding in 2014 we’ve never lost a coin. We’re FINTRAC regulated as a money services business, meaning we keep all our clients' money in Canada and use bank-level security measures on our platform. The Finance department is looking to add a highly skilled member to join the team. The Finance team plays a vital role in contributing to the company’s success! This role is for you if you have a strong understanding of accounting principles and a desire to be in a fast-paced tech environment.

What you’ll be doing:

• Working closely with our Finance Team to create and analyze financial reports
• Prepare reports to Management and the Board of Directors
• Update and maintain KPI, AUM and Revenue Reporting
• Assist build of Budget, Forecast and other financial models
• Support accounting end close (monthly, quarterly and annual)
• Support external year end audit and SOC audits
• Collaborate on other ad-hoc strategic projects

You will thrive if:

• You’re working towards a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• You have good level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Docs, Data extraction
• You have strong verbal and written communication skills
• You have high organization and time management skills
• You have the ability to prioritize multiple requests
• You have a keen interest in cryptocurrency
