Insightly CRM is seeking a highly organized and motivated QA Engineering Program Manager to join our fast-growing company.

Well qualified candidates will have experience in leadership, be self-driven, have a passion to solve complex problems, be a quick learner with willingness to flex into new areas, and have strong relationship building skills.

We are looking for an assertive individual with exceptional communication skills, who is comfortable taking initiative, can lead a team through ambiguity, and advise senior-level leaders through change management and driving process improvements.

For product, your team is responsible for testing, automating, documenting, and releasing. You also play a key role in being the voice of the customer on our engineering team. You work closely with the loyalty and engineering teams to triage and reproduce the issues faced by our customers and follow its full lifecycle until it is fixed and deployed.

Essential Job Functions (or “Job Duties”)

• Work with a geographically distributed team with different cultures and handle daily work in multiple threads
• Manage, mentor, and grow a team of QA professionals
• Collaborate and work with our engineering leadership team in an Agile environment
• Work with cross-functional teams to maintain product pipeline and customer experience
• Plan and design effective and elegant QA processes and metrics to support a growing codebase and products
• Able to challenge the “way-of-things”, to think unconventionally and offer new perspectives and approaches, to continuously optimize traditional processes and procedures and drive innovation
• Lead, support, and grow the QA team by being involved in the relevant recruitment and training processes, to ensure the optimization of the team’s functionality

Job Requirements

• 4 years of program, project or product management in software development
• 5+ years of experience working with Test Automation and Quality Assurance teams
• Previous experience in managing, mentoring, and hiring QA professionals
• Shown strength in the position of leadership. Ability to mobilize, encourage, and lead teams without direct management authority
• Comfortable working with, presenting to, and facilitating decisions among senior leaders and executives based on evolving priorities
• Ability to act quickly and accurately on time-sensitive projects
• Strong software issue detecting and high sensitivity on issue tracking
• Solid understanding of the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) process including comprehending business and functional requirements, developing detailed technical designs, and implementing testable solutions when needed

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in delivering successful platform software
• Knowledge of test methodologies and mindset to push for quality and proactively assess and communicate risks and mitigation
• Ability to take full responsibility for projects and see them through to completion

​​The salary range for this role in Colorado is $165,000 to $185,000 and final offers are determined using multiple factors including experience and level of expertise. For all other locations, the salary range may vary by geographic market and will be determined through the selection and assessment process for this role relative to your experience and our job qualifications. Insightly complies with applicable law regarding pay transparency.
