Watch a brief video to learn more about us Job description The Payroll & Benefits Administrator handles the setup & ongoing management of payroll & benefits for our employees. Work performed 1. Sets up new employees in our payroll & benefits systems. 2. Verifies and accurately reports hours in our payroll system. 3. Updates employee records regarding compensation, exemptions, titles & departments. 4. Responds to questions & requests from employees related to payroll & benefits. 5. Works with managers to ensure accurate timekeeping & schedules. 6. Works with employees on leaves of absence and workers compensation claims. 7. Processes insurance & 401k enrollments & terminations as well as 401k loans. 8. Reconciles employee deductions with elected coverage. 9. Maintains and improves payroll related processes. 10. Other tasks as assigned by management. Requirements 1. 3+ years experience in payroll processing and benefits administration. 2. Ability to maintain confidentiality. 3. Strong analytical skills, ability to cross check and troubleshoot discrepancies. 2. Excellent attention to detail. 3. Strong communication skills. Compensation 1. $55,000/yr + depending on experience. 2. Health and dental insurance available. 3. 4 weeks vacation. 4. Flexible schedule with the ability to work some days from home.
