About the role

We’re looking for high performers who are passionate about creating fiercely loyal customers when it matters most. You’ll be the primary point of contact for our claims customers from the moment the claim is reported until the claim is fully resolved.

*This role is currently 100% remote with the option to stay remote for the foreseeable future*

You will

• Evaluate, negotiate, and conclude various physical damage losses (Desk appraisal, reviewing DRP estimates, Inbound subrogation demands, Diminished Value claims, and Total Loss claims.)
• Negotiates settlements with insureds, claimants, and attorneys.
• Draft estimates, supplements, and total loss valuations.
• Accurately document files to include all key claims activities
• Resolve internal and external customer inquiries
• Work with external partners to ensure our customers receive a high level of efficient and effective service

About You

• Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with both internal and external customers
• Has a working knowledge of CCC One estimating software
• 1+ years of experience in a similar role with another standard auto insurance carrier
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Self-managed, highly motivated, detail oriented and confident
• Able to work well under deadlines in a high paced, changing environment
• Effective team player
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in basic computer skills
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education highly preferred but not required
• Able to pass written Claims Representative licensing exams where applicable
