Learning Management System Administrator, Mid

Key Role:

Specialize in administering the Moodle Learning Management System (LMS) to help us train the next generation of warfighters in a secure modernized computer environment. Support customers to overcome tough challenges through monitoring and performance management reporting that communicates important insights to our clients. Identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission critical network. Develop or contribute to solutions for a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Communicate and collaborate with teammates in both in-person and hybrid environments to improve training for the next generation of warfighters.

Basic Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience with administering and deploying Moodle or Navy eLearning (NeL) Learning Management System (LMS)
• Knowledge of user roles and permissions, problems, implementation, maintenance of courses, and reporting and troubleshooting user problems in NeL or Moodle
• Knowledge of eLearning standards, including Sharable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) and xAPI
• Knowledge of standardized LMS operational processes and procedures to ensure LMS governance model is being followed
• Ability to convert common data formats and file types and comprehend te chnical materials and documentation, including user guides
• Ability to upload courses and content
• Ability to obtain a security clearance
• HS Diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain a Security+ Certification within 90 days of hire

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with system administration and supporting DoD network systems
• Experience with using a variety of distance education te chnology
• Ability to provide te chnical guidance on how to apply xAPI to communicate with Learning Records Store (LRS)
• Ability to pay strict attention to detail
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Computer Information Systems, or Engineering
