We’re looking for a systems administrator who specializes in Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Management (MECM) technical support. Help us manage systems to train the next generation of Navy sailors in a secure modernized computer environment.

As a systems administrator on our project, you’ll perform system administration activities, including the day-to-day administration, coordination, and operation of MECM infrastructure systems, supporting patch management, OS and application packaging, and deployment management of system operations and security. Meet compliance for life cycle management, including planning, implementation, and upgrades for enterprise hardware and software. Customize and maintain image deployment solutions for deploying software packages to automate Microsoft and third-party software packaging targeted for automated deployment. You’ll help customers overcome tough challenges through monitoring and performance management. Your technical expertise will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission critical network. Your experience and communication skills will come in handy as you turn metrics into information and communicate their meaning. This is an opportunity to gain experience in assisting support teams with the integration, implementation, and support of the Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Management Suite, Altiris Server Management Suite, and Altiris Asset Management Suite. You Have:

• Experience with system administration using Microsoft Server 2019, 2016, 2012 R2, or Windows 10
• Experience with PowerShell
• Experience with OS patches and upgrades using patch management software
• Knowledge of Application Packaging Technologies
• Ability to obtain a security clearance
• HS Diploma or GED
• CompTIA Security+ CE Certification

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Management (MECM)
• Experience with Symantec Management Platform and Altiris 8.x, Client Management, and Server Management suite
• Experience with system administration supporting DoD network systems
• Experience with McAfee Host Based Security System (HBSS), MS Active Directory (AD), and Group Policies
• Experience working with monitoring tools, including Splunk
• Experience with SQL Queries
• Experience with Virtual Technologies, including Hyper-V, ESXi, and VMWare
• Knowledge of DoD security compliance auditing, DoD hardening, RMF, STIGs, and PKI
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Computer Information Systems, or Engineering
• Navy Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF) Computing Environment, for designated Operating System, Certification
