What we’re looking for 🔎

As a BDR Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading, developing, and growing a team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs) in executing and delivering Splash’s Go-To-Market strategy in collaboration with Sales Leadership, Marketing Leadership, and all revenue-facing functions of the business.

In this role, you’ll get to...

  • Help build a winning team through attracting, hiring and developing the world’s best BDR talent
  • Enable your team to relentlessly prospect, identify and qualify sales pipeline through your coaching and mentoring, focusing on topics such as, strategic account-based prospecting, outbound cold calling, and close partnerships with Account Executives
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to understand our buyer personas, the value Splash provides, and ensure we’re continually aligned on how we go to market in this post-pandemic world
  • Submit cases and provide actionable feedback and solutions to improve systems, processes and tools within the sales organization
  • Oversee your team to hit weekly KPIs and review sales calls consistently to understand how to improve conversion rates, and what levers we can adjust to work more efficiently
  • Lead weekly training sessions with the team to practice and perfect outbound cold calling, personalized outreach, qualifying prospects, and handling objections. Partner with Sales Enablement to introduce new approaches and methodologies as needed.
  • Participate in global leadership training programs to strengthen your leadership muscle

Who You Are

  • A true passion for people, making an impact, and software — we want leaders who love what they do and inspire their team
  • 2+ years of Sales / BDR management experience in a high-tech startup environment
  • Experience building and managing a best-in-class outbound-focused Business Development Team
  • Goal and KPI-oriented with a track record of overachievement and driving your teams to overachieve
  • An enthusiastic and collaborative team player who’s comfortable working and aligning with all department leaders
  • A ruthless learner with a voracious curiosity around prospecting best practices and sales methodology with the aptitude to implement creative processes and scale these initiatives.
  • Disciplined in managing time and resources with a sound approach to pipeline generation and qualification.
  • Experience working with Salesforce, Outreach (or equivalent), Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Gong.io (or equivalent), and GoogleSheets
