Moogsoft is seeking an energetic, creative, and self-motivated finance professional to join the Finance team. In this highly visible role, you will support the organization in financial planning and analysis activities. We’re an extremely lean team, so your impact will be significant immediately. You are a highly motivated finance professional with a strong aptitude for problem solving, and project management skills. You demonstrate outstanding analytical and communication skills, and strong business acumen. You thrive in a fast paced environment where change is a constant, and customer service to business partners is the norm. Please note that we are seeking someone located on the West Coast of the US.

You will...

• Support key financial processes processes including monthly, quarterly, and annual budgeting and forecasting processes
• Develop new processes and/or continuously improve/streamline existing processes relating to financial planning/reporting.
• Provide analysis in support of of the planning process and Moogsoft’s business objectives
• Review financials in support of the monthly close process.
• Readily partner and innovate with business leaders in support of their goals
• Establish yourself as a trusted partner to peers and senior leaders with an intimate understanding of stakeholder requirements to run the business
• Create dynamic and nimble models in support of financial reporting requirements including Board of Directors meetings
• Develop financial and models leading to key insights driving efficiency in the business
• Support ad hoc projects and help define systems improvements to support growth.

You have....

• Bachelor’s degree (ideally in Finance, Economics, Accounting)
• 3-5 years of FP&A experience at a technology company (SaaS experience preferred) and ideally 2+ years of investment banking and consulting
• Advanced in Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with financial systems (e.g. Workday, NetSuite, Anaplan, Host Analytics, Adaptive Insights)
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Experience in the Software / SaaS industry strongly preferred
• Positive attitude with high aptitude to learn new things
• An ability to execute independently and work with team members of all levels
• Desire and eagerness to grow with the company
