Position title: Demand Planner (Turkish & English) - Writing

Location: Poznan, PL or Hamburg, DE or Istanbul, TR

Reports to: Demand Planning Manager

Contract type: Permanent, full-time

Job summary

As a Demand Planner you will be responsible for delivery of the best demand plan in APO/SAP for the Supply Team. Your aim is to get the right product, on the right time to the Distribution Center, without increasing inventory. You will be expected to analyze & explain Gap’s in Plan vs financial estimates. Creating analysis and reports when needed.

You will work independently in our office in Poznan, being part of an international Demand Planning team, and cooperating with colleagues from Sales, Supply chain, Marketing and Customer Service.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead demand agreement meeting and daily contact with sales- and marketing-teams
  • Calculate forecasting at SKU level, using Sales order history
  • Perform monthly updates at SKU level
  • Enter forecast in the system (SAP/ APO)
  • Manage/follow up forecast on Campaign and special orders
  • Stock extractions, monitor inventory level, follow up on E&O and actions
  • Link with the warehouse and customer service for stock updates, stock entry and coordination of packaging activities
  • System inventory code ownership and maintenance (VMI)

Minimum requirements:

  • 2 years’ experience in demand planning and supply chain management preferably in a multinational organization
  • Fluent in English and Turkish
  • Very good command of MS Office especially Excel
  • Excellent analytical and data processing skills
  • Good communication skills

Preferred:

  • Previous work experience in (SAP/APO) environment
  • Analytical mind and result-oriented team player
