Our user base has doubled in the last year alone, and we have paid over $2 billion directly to creators on our platform. In order to support this level of growth, Patreon is looking for Software Engineering Interns to join our Engineering teams.

What you will do:

• You’ll ship a real-world feature that directly impacts and helps turn your favorite creator's passion into a living.
• You’ll be part of a great team. You’ll be embedded into an engineering team to work alongside fellow engineers, product managers, designers, and data scientists to make your feature a success.
• You’ll learn a lot. In the spirit of Win Together, we’ll pair you with one of our experienced engineers to mentor and guide you as you ramp up and work through all the technical challenges of your internship project.
• You’ll have fun. Besides shipping a great product and the learning and development opportunities, you’ll experience San Francisco or New York City during your summer internship alongside your intern cohort!

Skills and experience you possess:

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a related technical degree
• Solid technical knowledge of CS fundamentals and data structures
• Experience using one or more programming languages, including but not limited to: Python, Scala, React, TypeScript, Kotlin/Java (Android), Obj-C/Swift (iOS)
• Willingness to learn and incorporate feedback as you learn to Build with Craft
• Passion for Patreon and working with the Creators
