Lead Engineer, Lead Qualification

Job Description

Neighborhoods.com is looking for a Lead Software Engineer to lead a small and highly capable team responsible for supporting customer engagement technology to serve our internal and external customers. A successful candidate will have the technical experience to execute projects with little support, and has a willingness to analyze problems and suggest solutions for business stakeholders in the customer engagement space.

This role and all interviews will be 100% remote. We are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States. However, we are not able to sponsor visas.

What you'll be doing as a Lead Software Engineer:

• Deliver outbound dialing for Twilio-integrated, Hubspot-drive React plug-in which allows Customer Engagement to dial customers on a defined business cadence.
• Expand existing systems to support new lines of business and open existing workflows to new agents and users
• Maintain and improve inquiry ingestion capabilities to be transparent and efficient
• Set up our CRM Hubspot to be a single source of truth for all customers
• Advise team members directly in calls or meetings and via pull requests regarding coding best practices and architectural decisions.
• Develop new features or enhancements and fix bugs, in a prioritized manner, with the support of the product organization.
• Communicate with stakeholders, product managers and technical leadership about ongoing efforts and team member activities.

Requirements:

• Experience building, deploying, maintaining and ensuring performance of user experiences under a timeline and with a team of developers to satisfy stakeholders
• Experience architecting, building and deploying back-end systems in an enterprise environment
• Experience with telephony-system integration, particularly Twilio
• Experience leading teams of engineers
• Technical skills required:
• Twilio (Flex, Number Lookup, TaskRouter, Studio Flows, Phone Numbers, Messaging)
• ReactJS and related front-end development experience
• AWS services (API Gateway, Lambda, SQS, Step Functions, etc...)
• Python
• CI/CD pipeline experience (Github Actions)
• Structured and Unstructured Database Design and Development
• Git (branching strategies, pull requests and clean-up)

Salary Range

$130k-$140k per year
