We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive compliance analyst to ensure regulatory compliance within all departments of our organization. As a compliance analyst, your duties will include tracking compliance industry standards, developing policies, and evaluating compliance. You are also required to obtain regulatory approval. To be successful in this role, you should possess extensive experience in advising organizations on industry requirements and standards. Accomplished compliance analysts are regulatory experts who lead their organizations toward excellence in compliance.

What You'll Do

• Review, log, and supervise all annual reporting requirements across all 50 states for all Aspiration entities and subsidiaries.
• Research industry compliance regulations and policies.
• Evaluate internal operational and procedural compliance.
• Analyze and update existing compliance policies and related documentation.
• Communicate compliance policies and guidelines to Management and designated departments.
• Develop and execute new compliance policies and procedures as required.
• Develop and maintain a compliance recordkeeping system.
• Keep up with compliance requirements and amendments to regulations.

What You'll Bring

• B.A./B.S. in finance, business administration, pre-law, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
• 1+ years experience working in legal or compliance
• General knowledge and understanding of Corporate Governance and Compliance
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
• Strong project management skillsInterest in FinTech and working in a fast paced startup environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Google Workspace
