What You'll Do

• Design for a meaningful user experience
• Take conceptual ideas or insights and transform them into successful solutions for our customers
• Frame problems, ideate toward appropriate solutions
• Ensure that design solutions address customer needs
• Craft interfaces for working software that fit within or extend the representation of our brand
• Design end-to-end experiences that can be successfully delivered to customers
• Lead designers through problem framing and solutioning for complex initiatives
• Collaborate closely with engineering to ensure the final product matches intent

What You'll Bring

• Excellent written, verbal and storytelling communication skills
• Advanced user interface design craftsmanship
• 5+ years of experience designing working software
• 7+ years of experience in user experience design or equivalent experience
• Strong portfolio of design solutions
• Strong understanding of systems design thinking
• Applied knowledge in Research, Design, and Prototyping
• Direct experience doing primary research with users (contextual inquiry, survey development, usability testing, etc.)
• Demonstrated experience with design thinking or human-centered design
• Visual design proficiency (color theory, layout, typography, etc.)
• Ability to model concepts, experiences and architecture
Nice to have:
• Advanced degree in Human Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Design, Anthropology, Architecture or Psychology
• Experience leading complex projects from start to finish
