DevOps Engineer to work with a high-performing team supporting our web infrastructure. The ideal candidate would have a solid understanding of architecture in a cloud-native environment and experience supporting continuous integration and deployment. Responsibilities
- Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of services from inception and design through deployment, operation, and refinement.
- Support services before they go live through activities such as system design consulting and developing software platforms and frameworks.
- Maintain services by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health once they are live.
- Scale services sustainably through mechanisms like automation and evolve services by pushing for changes that improve reliability and velocity.
- Educate the wider organization on capabilities introduced to the stack.
- Practice sustainable incident response and blameless postmortems.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related technical field.
- At least 2 years of experience with CNCF technologies, e.g., Kubernetes, Docker, and Argo.
- Expertise in automating Infrastructure on any cloud with Terraform.
- Proficiency in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
- Programming experience in Go, Python, Java, or other object-oriented languages.
- Understanding of Unix or Linux system administration.
Extra Credit
- Experience migrating from a monolithic application to a microservices architecture.
- Involvement in supporting NATS, Kafka, or another message broker in a production environment.
- Experience working in an ISO or SOC-compliant company.
- Ability to speak Portuguese.
Additional Details:
- This role is open to remote candidates in the U.S.
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
- For this role, the base salary range is $145,000 - $175,000. Total compensation will also include a competitive benefits package and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). A salary offer will be determined by a number of factors including experience, skill level, education, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all teammate pay and compensation programs regularly to ensure competitive and fair pay.
