Senior Product Designer (m/f/d) – Fintech Venture

BCGDV is partnering with a global financial institution to build a new digital investment product, set to disrupt financial services. The proposition will see a differentiating set of investment products, bundled with real-time access to investment experts, setting clients on a path to financial freedom.

Backed by a long-standing player in the market, the start-up will tap into a currently underserved segment and reimagine how investments are done. To support the launch, we are on the lookout for a founding team of entrepreneurial-minded professionals who will shape the future of this game-changing venture.

As a part of our founding team, we are looking for a Senior Product Designer who will shape and continually optimise the end-to-end user journey. If you are willing to roll up your sleeves and have fun creating best experience for the user, read on!

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

• Own the user experience of the product from end to end with hands-on design work and shape the overall design operational setups and processes
• Help shape future product enhancements, new features and prepare design to scale to new markets.
• Effectively drive the continuous improvement and iterations of existing product feature design and branding.
• Partner with different stakeholders to establish a shared vision by building consensus on priorities, leading to sound product design and execution.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering and Marketing to design and deliver experiences from conception until launch.
• Conduct User Research and provide well-informed recommendations in both written and visual format (e.g. sketches, journeys, design flows, prototypes).

What You’ll Need:

• You have comprehensive knowledge in product design (both UX and UI), with a focus on mobile applications.
• You are an expert in leading design & prototyping tools like Figma and Sketch (must), Adobe Creative Cloud, Flinto, InVision or similar.
• Your portfolio speaks for yourself, reflecting a holistic, methodical and human-centered approach to product and service design; from research and insight generation to concept to deliverable.
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders in a larger company is a plus. Fintech experience is a plus.
• You are experienced in working in agile teams and can easily use tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• You are fluent in written and spoken English. German is a plus.
