Where we need help

We have begun to build a global footprint of footwear-focused stores that will grow in number as well as complexity with the expansion into apparel and multiple tiers and formats. We need help developing, managing and executing a Global retail marketing strategy, along with the processes and resources to enable a scalable, consistent retail experience around the world.

What does the job entail?

• Develop the long term strategy and annual brand plan for retail marketing approach, globally. Work with marketing and creative studio teams to develop process and calendar to introduce campaign imagery, product/material storytelling and window displays
• Connect stores into brand moments and campaigns; develop evergreen content for retails stores
• Help develop a visual merchandising process, and the resources needed to effectively display a growing range of products and categories in our expanding global fleet with the goals of driving business results, enhancing the brand image and delivering an exceptional customer experience
• Develop a process for fleet accountability to standards, and work with field leadership to ensure consistent execution
• Establish spatial planning / fixturing plan standards to ultimately allow for repeatable processes in new stores, and assortment expansion in existing stores
• Direct team members to work with Merchandising and Supply Chain Planning teams to develop formulaic front of house merchandising capacity calculation by store/tier to help inform future assortment decisions
• Help develop a store-level VM specialist position to ultimately support on-the-ground execution of different visual updates
• Assess and assist in strategy and future development of fixtures in coordination with creative studio and retail operations
• Lead, support and manage direct reports with Allbirds values at the fore

What kind of person are we looking for?

• 10+ years of corporate retail marketing and visual merchandising experience
• Visionary and passionate retail marketing professional, looking to create the next chapter of customer experience
• Degree or certification in related field
• Ability to work cross functionally and leverage other teams to deliver results
