Senior Associate - Global Internal Controls

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist the Company with their SOX Readiness program
• Assist in the design and implementation of efficient and effective controls in all key business process areas for the consolidated entity and its global in-scope subsidiaries
• Assist in walkthroughs to identify risks, control gaps, and improvement opportunities as and when required
• Document processes using flowcharts, narratives, and risk and controls matrices
• Collaborate with business process owners on the implementation of SOX controls, including process redesign, policies, procedures, documentation, evidence evaluation and system enhancements
• Improve SOX documentation and work papers (i.e., work with process owners to refine risk control matrix, improve process flows, refine / develop test procedures, propose control language and associated risks etc.)
• Conduct Test of Design and Test of Operating Effectiveness testing for all key business processes including ESG for the consolidated entity and its global in-scope subsidiaries
• Coordinate and work closely with key partners with respect to the reporting of ESG Reporting control metrics
• Support remediation efforts and process enhancements with the control owners
• Support financial statement and compliance audits and interact with external auditors
• Identify opportunities to automate financial function and analysis performed outside of core systems
• Provide creative input that will drive greater efficiency and value to the internal control process
• Manage and/or contribute to special projects both on-going and recurring (e.g., scaling controls, segregation of duties, implementation support/advisory), as needed, in an effective and efficient manner
• Keep up to date on industry and business trends significant to the profession and to TKWW

SUCCESSFUL Sr. ASSOCIATE - GLOBAL INTERNAL CONTROLS CANDIDATES HAVE:

• Education: Qualified CA, CIA, or MBA Finance
• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in SOX compliance and/or internal audit
• Experience with using Workiva SOX platform (preferably) or any other SOX platform
• Working knowledge of general accounting skills, GAAP, COSO, PCAOB Auditing Standards, Sarbanes-Oxley, risk and controls standards and business process best practices
• Working knowledge of ITGCs
• Proficient level knowledge of Excel, Google Sheets and Slides
