Job Description

Sequel Claims is one of our market-leading products which offers a claims management solution to both Underwriters and Brokers , who operate largely within the Lloyd's and London Insurance Market . With the backing of our holding company ( Verisk Analytics ) - we are now expanding our customer base into the USA .

This role will place you on key projects, delivering SequelClaims software to either broking or underwriting customers.

The core focus is to play a senior business analyst role, taking responsibility for the analysis function in Claims delivery projects . You'll work within a specialist team of Verisk SBS employees - across London, Malaga and potentially, the USA. We're looking for someone who will take initiative, and be comfortable engaging with customers and counterparts, communicating well to develop a strong partnership of process across the locations. Your mentoring and leadership skills will be key.

This is a customer-facing role ,working in an Agile/ scrum environment, with the challenges associated with working as a provider of proprietary B2B software. We'd be particularly keen to attract candidates with prior experience of the Lloyd's and London Insurance industry, and specifically with knowledge of the claims management process.

Qualifications

This role requires some non-negotiable experience:

• Tertiary qualification in support of a career in software development and business analysis
• 5+ years experience working within a software product team, currently as a senior or lead business (systems) analyst, in the delivery of complex software to external customers
• team management, mentoring and leadership eperience
• full lifecycle delivery experience - from requirements analysis and functional documentation stage, implementation of configuration changes, QA testing and review to go live stage
• Insurance sector experience, specifically London Market
• Knowledge of Claims Management and SIU would be highly advantageous
• SQL skills
• Experience in TFS or a similar Agile PM tool (Rally)
• Basic knowledge of API's, JSON would be optional and advantageous
