The Curriculum (Your Role): The Market Development Representative position at Seesaw plays a key role in securing new business opportunities for the sales team’s pipeline. MDRs will identify qualified opportunities by responding rapidly to inbound leads via email & phone to drive Seesaw’s growth.
Your Classmates (The Team): You will be working directly with our Senior Demand Generation Manager, Marketing team, and Sales Team to strategically tee up school and district sales.
Subject Matter (Your Responsibilities):
- Build Sales pipeline by quickly and efficiently fielding inbound leads via email & phone, while understanding unique marketing angles for different customers.
- Call prospective buyers to vet their interest in Seesaw and connect them quickly with our sales team.
- Possess a deep understanding of Seesaw's offerings and differentiators.
- Follow defined market development team processes for prospecting and passing leads to Sales.
- Share successful techniques with MDR teammates.
Prerequisites (The Requirements):
- Self-driven, motivated, friendly, and outgoing personality
- Comfortable with a fast-paced sales role
- Excellent communication abilities, including writing and speaking
- 1+ years of experience prospecting or working Inside Sales for a SaaS organization
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Outreach (or other Sales Engagement Platform), or Drift
- Ability to meet or exceed quotas
- Associates Degree or higher
