Job Description
Teachable is hiring a Marketing Specialist Intern for the 2023 spring semester (January through June) to help project manage large-scale marketing campaigns and initiatives for affiliate and paid marketing that will convert leads into customers and help customers achieve success on our platform. Your primary responsibilities will include project management (building out full-scope campaign plans in Asana, daily stakeholder updates and monitoring of tasks), owning campaign documentation, and outreach for affiliates and paid media placements (such as podcasts). You’ll be part of the marketing team, a fast-paced, highly cross-functional team that is constantly testing and innovating to tell the best possible story to our customers. This role reports to the Performance Marketing Manager and the Campaign Marketing Manager. This is an exciting position at Teachable, and a pivotal time in our company's growth. Teachable is growing, and our marketing team is hard at work trying exciting new strategies and projects to keep up with our customers' needs. Our ideal candidate is a quick learner with an interest in developing their skills in digital marketing, email marketing, project management, or marketing experimentation.
What You'll Do
- Lead - Conduct a project to expand the number of partners we have on our affiliate marketing program.
- Prospect - Explore potential newsletters and podcasts for paid media placements.
- Create - Assist in managing campaign timelines and creating project tasks in Asana (project management tool that you will gain experience in) for the marketing team. Keep documentation of live campaign assets, such as landing pages, emails, pop-ups, and social media posts.
- Manage - Lead live webinar chat plan and experience, such as recruiting volunteers, preparing a schedule, and blocking calendars for our bi-annual summit (March).
- Collaborate - work with marketing leadership, copywriters, designers, and data analysts to stick to campaign timelines and follow-up on tasks. Partner with the product team to build in-app user experience for campaigns (such as promotional pop-ups and banners). Work with finance to send and process invoices from contractors and freelancers.
- Analyze - Review and perform quality assurance (QA) on campaign landing pages. You’ll do proofreading, link checks, and follow up with team members to ensure bugs are fixed.
