Essential Job Functions: The incumbent must be able to perform all of the following duties and responsibilities with or without a reasonable accommodation. - Inventory Management: - Responsible for management of ski purchase orders and DC inventory levels to support store level replenishment. - Proactively manage inventory receipts to drive business goals and exceed customer expectations while executing to the Open-to-Buy plan. - Directly accountable for maintaining fill rate that meets or exceeds goals. - Execute ordering to support promotional and secondary inventory needs. - Drive the identification and resolution of inventory opportunities from vendor to DC to achieve greater business profitability. - Proactively work with vendor partners and own collaborative forecasting and planning assuring high fill rate standards. - Partner with Demand Analyst to execute against ski entrance and exit strategies. - Drive business results through cross-functional development of strategies to achieve shop/department level goals and objectives. - Partnership - Interact professionally and effectively through verbal and written communication with an emphasis on company interests. - Manage and drive collaborative relationships with internal and external partners. - Serve as an inventory management liaison between key internal and external partners. - Vendor Management - Drive vendor performance by monitoring and addressing opportunities through partnership with the vendor operations team. - Serve as primary Inventory Management contact for each assigned vendor. Act as process lead for vendor specific Collaborative Forecasts. Coordinate and lead meetings with vendors and provide feedback on vendor performance to Inventory Manager and Strategic Business Unit. - Review and analyze vendor ordering and demand profiles to achieve inventory and financial goals. - Perform vendor set up including ordering parameters, lead time review, and service levels to determine optimal ordering. - Drive Collaborative Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment process with identified vendors. - Development and Training - Achieve and maintain required system certifications. - Proactively identify and participate in opportunities to expand business, inventory and/or supply chain knowledge and expertise. - Actively participate in personal development planning. Supervisory Responsibilities: None. Work Environment: The majority of job duties are performed while seated indoors with little or no exposure to hazards. Education (Required): four-year Bachelor’s degree in Retail Management, Supply Chain, Business or a related field is required. An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. Work Experience (Required): Proven advanced ability to use applications within Microsoft Office suite as well a very strong ability to extract and analyze data from databases and make appropriate recommendations is required. Two to three year’s of replenishment buying and/or store operations experience is required. Demonstrate excellent analytical, mathematical and business problem solving skills with the ability to analyze data, conduct research and solve system issues as required. Demonstrated well-developed communication, interpersonal, analytical and presentation skills are necessary due to the nature and level of interaction with peers and cross-functional teams. $63,600.00 - $95,400.00Exact rate of pay will be based on position, location, and experience level.
