THE OPPORTUNITY

Kipsu is seeking a Vice President of Marketing to join our leadership team. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to play a direct role in growing our business by developing, overseeing, and driving our marketing strategy and the team charged with executing on our day-to-day marketing activities.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing, directing and implementing Kipsu’s demand generation
• Leading a disciplined and data-driven team including weekly testing, analytics, and adjustments
• Analyzing target market opportunities to identify and recommend effective marketing approaches
• Overseeing the company website, collateral, and social media content creation
• Maintaining knowledge of emerging marketing tools and channels and testing new approaches to find access to prospects
• Collaborating with other members of the executive team to develop growth plans for our organization
• Forecasting, drafting, implementing the departmental budget and managing the marketing team to hit our marketing objectives
• Overseeing the daily work of the Marketing team, including hiring, training and managing to deadlines
• Managing the company brand, including our employer brand

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We will favor candidates that have the following characteristics and background:

• Experience working in a B2B SaaS environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Thorough understanding of marketing strategies and experience building integrated, multi-touch campaigns spanning email marketing, content marketing, paid media, social media, webinars and SEO
• Background in implementing tools and techniques for capturing lead attribution and prioritizing marketing activities using data
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• High energy, high achieving, professional ready to come in every day and make an impact
• A demonstrated capacity to collaborate
• Experience in a growth stage company
• Willing and eager to constantly test and improve everyday
• Experience with marketing automation with tools such as HubSpot and SalesLoft
• Enthusiasm to work as a “player coach” in an office-based environment
• 5+ years of experience managing marketing teams
• Background marketing into the hospitality, healthcare or living environments segments a plus but not required
