Scientific Communication plays a critical role in the delivery of our scientific message to all our stakeholders. These stakeholders include internal stakeholders (associates of the business unit) and external stakeholders including (but not limited to) veterinarians, Universities, Key Opinion Leaders, breeders, associations, administrations, SPCAs and pet owners.
What are we looking for?
- Science graduate in a technical subject ideally related to animal food science/technology, health & nutrition, veterinary science (highly desirable) or another biological science.
- You have at least 2 years of experience in the veterinary industry or in clinic experience.
- You have developed presentation skills and can comfortably speak in front of virtual and live audiences.
- You have excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic (oral and written).
- You have high passion to better the lives of pets by transforming the way the world applies pet nutrition.
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Develop and deploy our local scientific communication strategy in line with the business strategy of Royal Canin.
- Partner with marketing teams to deliver effective and integrated scientific strategy that enhance the reputation of Royal Canin.
- Develop a connection for the reputation of Royal Canin with our focus on health through nutrition, science, and quality and food safety.
- Drive Royal Canin's brand awareness by collaborating with leading universities and specific experts in veterinary health, presenting results at scientific conferences and working with digital channels.
- Develop/adapt and translate all scientific communication materials and training modules for the local market.
- Provide technical/product support to key areas of the business including Consumer Care, Regulatory Affairs and Marketing/Sales/Digital teams.
- Provide relevant scientific and technical insights in potential local crisis management.
