We’re looking for a talented App Marketing Executive to help to deliver Trainline's app store marketing strategy. Your time will be spent working on app store optimisation (ASO)in multiple markets. You will also be responsible for managing Apple Search Ads campaigns. This will involve optimising the Trainline app for discoverability in search algorithms and conversion, primarily through creative testing. You will need to be both highly analytical and creative for this role. You must be able to deliver on a strategic roadmap, along with analysing and reporting on results to the rest of the business. You will have experience working in digital marketing and will be looking to specialise in an app marketing role. You may not yet have hands on experience with app store optimisation or Apple Search Ads, but you will demonstrate a willingness to learn and have evidence of following a steep learning curve in previous experience. You will become an app marketing enthusiast and will always be looking for the next big opportunity by keeping up-to-date with Apple and Google’s updates and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

    • Deliver best in class app store optimisation across the iOS App Store, Google Play Store and Huawei App Gallery
    • Manage and effectively optimise global Apple Search Ads campaigns towards CPA and ROAS targets
    • Deliver the creative testing roadmap to improve conversion rates across key markets
    • Research, monitor and report on keyword performance across key markets
    • Work closely with brand and product teams to support full funnel campaigns and stay up-to-date on new product features we can promote
    • Establish country specific strategies to improve discoverability and conversion ratesin the app stores
    • Be responsible for the product pages, uploading new screenshots and metadata
    • Own analytics of ASO performance and regular reporting to stakeholders
    • Stay up to date on industry developments and opportunities
    • Deliver the strategy for Custom Product Pages, Custom Store Listings, In-App Events, Store Listing Experiments & Product Page Optimisation

Requirements

    • 18 months experience in a digital marketing or SEO role for a brand or agency
    • You must be fluent in English with French or Italian fluency a bonus
    • You must be comfortable working autonomously
    • The ideal candidate will have worked with apps and be familiar with App Store Optimisation
    • Willingness to learn and commitment to personal development. This person will be expected to apply themselves to becoming an expert in app marketing, specialising in app store optimisation
    • Extremely high attention to detail
    • Both an analytical and creative mindset
    • Good data analysis skills with Excel or Google Sheets. Tableau/Looker experience a bonus
    • Strong communication and collaborative working skills
