Overview of Role The role of the Head of EU People Operations is to provide seamless HR operational support to all employees across our European office locations. We’ve expanded our European footprint in recent times, as we embark on an ambitious and exciting journey to replicate our UK successes on the continent, to help us achieve this goal our headcount has expanded, and we’ve opened new offices in Milan & Barcelona. You will play a key part in helping to support future headcount growth in all European locations, as well as supporting our existing Trainliners in Paris, Barcelona, Milan & Berlin and potentially other locations in future. There is lots to be achieved in this role and the potential to have a huge impact on our ever growing workforce as you impact policies ranging from compensation through to health & wellbeing. The role will have accountability for all touch points of the entire employee lifecycle from the offer process for new hires, to onboarding, induction, performance management, pay reviews, promotions, job changes through to leaving. They will own compensation, including pay ranges, benchmarking, pay reviews and delivering benefits which drive talent attraction, retention and employee engagement. Your key stakeholders will include the Talent Acquisition Team, HRBPs and the broader Trainline Management community as well as providing a vital service to all employees.
About You
- You’ll be an experienced HR professional
- experience in partnering with senior stakeholders in a high growth, Technology business in EU locations will be essential
- A proven track record in developing a People Operations agenda
- A deep knowledge of HR Operations, HR Systems, Reward and benefits
- An ability to deliver at pace in a fast-moving, growth-focused business managing change and minimising complexity.
- Experience of working in a Plc regarding the corporate governance framework and share plans in a listed environment
- A strong focus on continuous improvement, with an analytical and data-driven approach
- A collaborative style that builds effective working relationships with strong, clear and credible communication skills and ideally multi-lingual
