Sr. AV/IT System Administrator

Job Description

NIO USA Inc. is currently seeking an AV/IT Systems Administrator to join our small but fast-paced team in San Jose, CA. You will be working onsite as part of our Digital Development team. The individual will be primary support for all video conference rooms, events and meetings as well on the front lines of NIO’s IT System support. The candidate will be expected to troubleshoot and resolve all audio video, conference room, and meeting issues and assist with daily operations primarily for NIO San Jose and global offices. Must be hands-on and able to provide end user training. These duties will be performed in compliance with policy guidelines and within the team’s SLA as well as additional projects.

Responsibilities:

• Implement, maintain, optimize, AV equipment for the US offices
• Support AV inventory management
• Knowledge in multiple meeting platforms: Zoom, Lark, WebEx, GoToMeeting, etc.
• Provide relevant process and uptimes of all relevant systems related to AV
• Ensuring live events and key meetings have flawless AV execution
• Able to identify AV performance issues and subsequently resolve within the SLA
• Support the resolution of incidents raised through ticketing system
• Analyze and provide solutions for end user device issues in person and remotely
• Help maintain IT systems and facilities, e.g., Printers, conferencing audio/video equipment, etc.
• Summarize and submit detailed service reports as needed
• Create detailed documentation for internal procedures
• Effectively work with team to implement and deploy global applications and services
• Prioritize day to day operations of Service Desk tickets and projects
• Ensure compliance to IT and security policies
• Drive improvements, standardization, and maintenance for systems and services
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of experience in audio-visual integration and support
• 5+ years of experience in IT operations support and administration
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, including documentation skills
• Experience in managing or maintaining majority of the following: Zoom, Lark/Feishu, Teams.
• Experience with video conferencing equipment installation and decommission
• Knowledge of Windows/Mac imaging and support
• Ability to design AV standards and principals (diagramming, proof of concept, etc.)
• Hands-on and detail-oriented
• Self-motivated and able to work independently and with others
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift 50lbs or more

Benefits:

• The US base salary range for this full-time position is $105,600 - $132,000.
• Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
