Role:

Splunk is looking for early career Cloud Security Engineer to assist with upcoming projects within the Cloud IAM Engineering & Enablement org. Access/security/compliance experience is desired. Having experience with automation, integration, and documentation is desired. Familiarity with common code security practices - credentials, tokens, certificates and encryption and their usage in code/libraries - is required. Okta IG (OIG) and Okta Workflows are the tools we will be using to implement our IGA solution. Experience with this product is highly desirable.

The Cloud IAM Engineering and Enablement organization builds robust and resilient auto-scaling platform solutions for hosting Splun's enterprise software. The teams are fast-paced, high-velocity, and use state-of-the-art technology. The focus is on automation, solving complex challenges that span across multiple groups within Splunk, ensuring smooth and expedient services to Splunk users, sustaining rapidly growing operations in a scalable manner while building out for new opportunities as well.

We have a substantial AWS, Lambda and Kubernetes presence of large-scale containerized systems. This is an incredible opportunity to utilize your existing cloud experience and drive the growth of the Splunk Cloud.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated ability to think logically and break down complex problems into its components
• Coding bootcamp or formal programming experience in multiple languages.
• IAM/Security Experience with Okta Workflows/Okta IG
• Experience in deploying and operating in the cloud, especially AWS
• Experience with tools such as terraform. puppet ansible or others helpful
• 1+ years of leading Software Development efforts with object oriented programming languages (GoLang preferred, Java, C, C++ also considered)
• Experience building out automation and integration tools in a cloud access and/or security environment using Okta Workflows/Okta IG
• Interest in design and architect abilities.

Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out below, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation, and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.

Base Pay Range

SF Bay Area, Seattle Metro, and New York City Metro Area

Base Pay Range: $44.62 - 61.35 per hour

California (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), Washington DC Metro, and Massachusetts

Base Pay Range: $40.38 - 55.53 per hour

All other cities and states excluding California, Washington, Massachusetts, New York City Metro Area and Washington DC Metro Area.

Base Pay Range: $34.62 - 47.60 per hour
