This exciting role offers opportunity to:

  • Develop sales plans, activities, and campaigns. Manage the day-to-day sales activities of Crouse-Hinds in Queensland in order to implement the organization’s overall sales strategy in Australia.
  • Assist with the preparation of sales forecasts and budgets; monitor sales volume, revenues, and costs against forecasts to identify problem areas; and adapt procedures and Initiatives to improve the overall performance of the Region.
  • Work closely with Business Managers in Mining and Industrial/Ex. to develop customer–orientated products in application and solution.
  • Negotiate sales with existing and new customers who are of strategic importance to the organization.
  • Contribute to the development of sales, marketing, customer retention, and distribution strategies for area of responsibility.
  • Coach customer’s sales representatives on the technical aspects of the organization’s products and services.
Qualifications
  • 8 years sales and marketing experience.
  • Prior budget and experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BA/BS) or equivalent Electrical Trade Certification is required;
  • Fluent communication in English.
  • In-depth knowledge of Industrial Electrical Applications, Hazardous Experience preferred, proven sales, marketing and customer relations experience.
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Able to work autonomously as well as been a strong team member, able to display organizational planning skills and strong time management skills
  • Must have exemplary customer service skills.
  • Lighting Design Experience preferred
