Your Mission

We are currently seeking an experienced Associate Design Director to work on our new FPS. Previous experience leading a highly talented team of single-player focused designers while also providing a portfolio heavy on SP: FPS game and level design work is paramount. If you live for kick-ass SP gaming, can motivate a team, and have shipped AAA titles with awesome design aesthetics, then we are looking for you!

Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

• Proven track record of building striking levels using proprietary tools such as Radiant, Unreal, Source, Max, Maya, or similar within the game industry.
• Led a team of SP level designers from design concept through planning, iterating, play testing, and polishing of SP levels.
• Worked with designers to envision, design and manage SP design and game features and overall vision of game.
• Must have experience in 3D modeling with the ability to show detailed and polished geometry.
• Ability to conceptualize design ideas and communicate those ideas to the team.

Player Profile

Experience

• 8+ years of game design experience
• Has successfully shipped multiple products, generally achieving favorable standards of quality and business outcomes.

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledgeable and skilled in the use of Radiant, Unreal, Unity or comparative game engines.
• Comfortable working with creative, artistic, and technical leads to identify design requirements.
• Strong understanding of game principles and/or metagame systems principles and can apply them optimally.

Key Attributes

• A team focused, multi-discipline collaborator with the ability to pitch your ideas in large or small groups.
• Leadership experience resolving conflict, and when needed offering difficult feedback with respect.
• Passion for Call of Duty!

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $124,400.00 - $230,300.00 Annual. This base pay range is for the U.S. and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
