OnDemand Services Supervisor

Job Description

General Summary: The OnDemand Services Supervisor will work with Networks Programming, Digital, Content Acquisitions, and Affiliate Stakeholders to curate and package content for unique digital experiences within the Networks offering and enhanced offering service made directly available to participating cable operators. Supervisor will also ensure that content selection has been delivered properly to the Technology and Operations department with the appropriate windowing and adjust accordingly to requests made by the Digital/Affiliate teams. The OnDemand Services Supervisor will report directly into the Director of Programming for SPTN Latin America. Responsibilities:

• Work alongside Programming Director in long range content planning for enhanced VOD line of business for all markets in Latin America.

• Cross check and stagger Networks/XVOD offerings to ensure SPTN is continuously offering a steady but distinct flow of content hours for both lines of businesses.

• Identify content hour low points across the calendar year for Networks and present viable solutions, including repackaging of existing inventory or new content availability.

• Work with Heads of Affiliates in disseminating VOD Services Scheduling information to help promote OnDemand platforms within the region for Marketing support and Brand awareness.

• Work with Head of Digital and Networks Research to mine VOD Services usage data and produce reports for internal SPT departmental use and consideration for future curation.

• Address any issues related to Bebanjo and/or Zype with Technology and Operations to ensure the proper functioning of the department.

• Make sure content plans are scheduled as intended within the BeBanjo scheduling system.

• Attend and give support during Triangle meetings.

• Any other duties that arise related to the current and future business function.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Detail oriented with strong interpersonal skills, ready to present long range content plans.

• Ability to multi-task and work well under deadline-based tasks.

• Ability to communicate and maintain key relationships with internal and external clients.

• Bilingual in Spanish and English. Portuguese is a plus.

• Proficient in Microsoft Suite Applications (Excel, PPT, etc.)

• Experience with VOD content management system, BeBanjo.

• Knowledge of USH/LatAm media and entertainment landscape (broadcast, cable, OTT) a plus.

• Proactive Team Player.

Experience:

• 3-5 years Television industry experience required in Programming or related experience in Programming, Research, Digital Media, Affiliate Marketing, or Broadcast Operations.
