Software Engineer in Test At Tessian we are on a mission to improve the quality of our software to improve the overall user experience and satisfaction by providing top notch quality software that ideally never presents significant disrupting BAU bugs. Therefore, Tessian is seeking a skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Software Engineer to join our growing team. The Quality Assurance Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing software tests to ensure that our products meet customer and business requirements.
Responsibilities: Collaborate with integration development teams to understand and implement automated or whenever not possible, manual tests Create and maintain test plans, test cases, test data and test scripts. Finalising and maintain Software Verification and Validation Matrix Perform both manual and automated testing of software applications Identify and document defects and work with development teams to resolve them Assist in the development of test automation scripts and generic, reusable test frameworks Contribute to the improvement of quality and software development processes and methodologies Participate in code reviews to identify and mitigate testing-related issues
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field 2-4 years of experience in software automated testing and quality assurance Experience with Agile development methodologies Strong understanding of software development and testing principles Experience with test automation and scripting in languages such as Python or Java Experience with test management and bug tracking tools Experience testing mobile, web, and/or desktop applications Familiarity with performance and load testing Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills If you're not sure that you exactly fit all of the above criteria, please do get in touch anyway.
