Job Description

We're looking for a Senior Vice President, Programmatic Platform Sales to join our team in NYC!

The SVP, Programmatic Sales will develop and implement the programmatic strategy to sell into media agencies, advertisers, trading desks, DSP’s and other programmatic-side vendors to expand this key revenue stream. This role will lead a global team of programmatic specialists and report to the CRO.

This individual is well versed in the programmatic nuances of RTB, platforms, automation, second-price auctions and industry disruption, in addition to having strong contacts within the programmatic community (advertiser, agencies, trading desks, DSPs, SSPs and Exchanges). The role requires both operational and strategic skills to ramp up the programmatic pipeline in a rapidly changing environment.

Programmatic Sales Strategy

  • Prospect and manage a global, sustainable business pipeline, accurately forecasting revenue growth to help achieve programmatic budget both directly and via the existing Brand and Agency Sales teams.
  • Actively pitch and grow strategic relationships with agency trading desks, key clients, and vendors to further increase indirect revenue.
  • Stay current on all industry trends related to programmatic buying and selling across all formats and provide internal recommendations, as relevant.
  • Act as company spokesperson at key industry events and Integral Ad Science’s events as a credible source of inventory in the marketplace.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of audience and data standard ad products, and effectively communicate value propositions to potential clients.
  • Gather market feedback and provide consistent updates to product to drive innovation while managing product validation outreach with sales team.
  • Act as programmatic lead of all sales materials (key positioning, sales tools and other required support).

Team Development and Management

  • Day-to-day management of global programmatic specialist team working with Business Development, Sales and Account Management to drive maximum revenue and stickiness.
  • Lead and guide a high performance team.
  • Support team when issues may need senior level involvement.
  • Work with marketing to ensure team is building compelling case studies, sales materials and best-in-class examples.
  • Assist CRO in setting team quarterly KPIs and ensuring completion.
  • Build strong relationships with all internal teams including product, technical account management, product marketing.
  • Collaborate with Brand and Agency Sales Teams to identify opportunities and sell directly to brands and agencies.

Key Capabilities and Experience

  • 10 years of digital sales experience including 5+ years in an ad tech, or programmatic buying or selling environment, global experience a plus.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving programmatic/data revenue targets.
  • 3+ years in a managerial role with proven ability to lead and develop.
  • A positive role model with excellent data, tech and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong relationships with agencies/agency trading desks/, exchange /RTB platforms, DSPs and ad servers.
  • Exceptional ability to analyze performance data and make compelling recommendations for internal strategy, as well as client buying and optimization recommendations.
  • Experience with negotiating complex deals that meet strategic revenue goals.
  • Proven skills in problem-solving, follow-through, attention to detail and prioritization.
  • Resourceful and responsive to change – thrives in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency.
  • BA/BS degree in media, digital marketing, finance or equivalent experience.
  • Must be able to travel up to 25%

New York Applicants: The salary range for this position is $282,500 - $358,100 actual pay may vary based on experience or geographic location.
