THE ROLE:
Assist in implementation and continuous improvement of project control procedures across the region and provide input to all areas of project controls including schedule, cost, risk and change
- Develop, maintain and update cost and project schedules (as needed) for all assigned projects including margin analysis, project data reconciliation and comparison of actuals to budget as well as forecast.
- Maintain, update and perform quality control of the project controls systems and databases by populating required data fields and establishing new data fields in support of project and program level reporting, management presentations, and data requests
- Maintain accurate and updated project resource information and key dates; works with project team to optimize budget scenarios.
- Gather and track relevant project data used for budgets, contracts, change orders, trends and actual costs; perform quality management to ensure project status is reported accurately and effectively
- Generate project invoicing, adhering to both internal and client standards / expectations.
- Participate and lead in a variety of project teams and committees to develop and improve project management, project controls, and region-specific procedures
- Adhere to internal Quality Control procedures, confirming all projects meet compliance standards
- Promote open communication and collaboration across all teams to ensure all projects are completed with minimal disruptions and delays
- Collaborate with project managers and finance department to gather project cost and contact information and incorporates details into the regular cost and schedule (as needed) updates. Continuously works to improve and upgrade the financial data.
- Respond to project level information requests, provide custom reports with accurate information, and financial analysis to support project management decision making.
