THE ROLE : The Shipper / Receiver will be responsible for the receiving and material handling activities. In this role, the incumbent will also support the site’s inventory, warehouse and logistics tasks as needed. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Support the receiving and material handling functions both physically and systemically.
- Support the site’s inventory, warehouse and logistics tasks as needed.
- Ownership of the inventory cage and shared warehouse responsibilities.
- Process In and Out shipments within the ERP system or Fixed Asset database
- Possess knowledge on domestic and international shipping processes and be able to move goods as needed.
- Maintain a safe and orderly working environment through workplace organization best practices
- Additional duties and responsibilities may be required based on organization needs.
QUALIFICATIONS : - High school diploma required
- Materials and Inventory Management with DG knowledge preferred
- Shipping and receiving experience preferred
- AX Dynamics experience a plus
- Knowledge and aptitude of Microsoft Suite products a plus
DAY IN THE LIFE : In this role, the working environment is fast-paced and materials are constantly moving internally and externally to support the business.
