www.AgeofLearning.com . We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst located in Guadalajara. The Senior Financial Analyst will be integral to the efficiency and accuracy of our financial operations, providing vital support during month-end and year-end close processes through meticulous journal entries, account reconciliations, and the preparation of financial statements for key stakeholders. The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented, organized professional committed to upholding the highest standards of accounting practices.
Responsibilities
- Accounting:
- Support the month-end and year-end accounting close process, including but not limited to preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
- Prepare financial statements for dissemination to senior management, partners, and other third parties as needed
- Review international financial statements, intercompany, eliminations and consolidations
- Ensure financial information and schedules are accurate and maintained in accordance with US GAAP, including knowledge of accounting principles and procedures under ASC 606 Revenue from Contracts with Customers, ASC 842 Leases, and ASC 350 Intangibles – Goodwill and Other
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with external auditors for requests and inquiries
- Ensure controls are properly performed within the financial close process and financial reporting
- Perform various projects as needed
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- 4+ years of relevant accounting experience working for US company
- Bilingual English/Business Spanish (written and verbal) in a business setting
- Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures in US accounting
- Highly proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English
- Strong Excel and other Microsoft skills
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central software is a plus
- Deep analytical skills and attention to detail; able to multi-task on multiple projects with varying deadlines
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
